Emma's writing has received various awards, including an honorable mention in The Best American Essays anthology, and fellowships from Phillips Exeter Academy and Lighthouse Writers’ Workshop. She is an alumna of NYU's MFA program, where she also taught undergraduate creative writing. Her debut book, Body Songs, is forthcoming from Penguin Life in 2027.
